Assistance offered includes: rent, mortgage, utilities, food voucher, clothing and glasses.

  • Must have proof of residency in the county for 90 days
  • Have been honorably discharged
  • Can apply for assistance up to 3 times in a 12 month period
  • Assistnace under $1000 in a 12-month period can be approved by the Director (3-5 day process)
  • Assistance over $1000 must be approved by Board of Directors who meet 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month

  • Picture ID and Social Security Card
  • Eviction or Shut-Off Notice
  • Income and address verification
  • Date of Birth/Social Security numbers for every member of the household

Need to bring verification of income and rent/mortgage, plus utility statements and Picture ID. Fill out a PRC application and may get to speak to a case worker that day or within 24 hours. Assistance is determined based on income versus expenses. May take up to 10 days to receive assistance money.
